Agreement to terms

By accessing or using ArrivMate (arrivmate.com), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the site. ArrivMate is operated from Brisbane, Queensland, Australia.

What ArrivMate provides

ArrivMate is a personalised digital guide for people moving to Australia on Working Holiday visas (subclass 417 and 462) and student visas. We provide general information and guidance based on publicly available sources. Our content is verified against official Australian government sources and updated regularly.

Not professional advice

ArrivMate does not provide legal, tax, immigration, financial, or medical advice. The information on this site is for general guidance only and should not be relied upon as a substitute for professional advice. Visa rules, tax rates, minimum wages, healthcare entitlements, and other details can change at any time.

Always verify important information with official sources including the Australian Taxation Office (ato.gov.au), Fair Work Ombudsman (fairwork.gov.au), Department of Home Affairs (homeaffairs.gov.au), and Services Australia (servicesaustralia.gov.au). For personal legal or financial matters, consult a qualified professional.

We make every effort to keep our content accurate and up to date, but we cannot guarantee that all information is current or complete at the time you read it. Content verification dates are displayed throughout the site.

Affiliate partnerships

ArrivMate contains links to third-party products and services. Some of these are affiliate links, meaning we may earn a commission if you click through and make a purchase or sign up. This does not affect the price you pay. Our recommendations are based on what we believe is genuinely useful for working holiday makers and students — we do not recommend products solely because they pay us a commission.

When you click an affiliate link and leave ArrivMate, you are subject to the third party's own terms of service and privacy policy. We are not responsible for the products, services, content, or practices of any third-party websites.

For full details, see our Affiliate Disclosure page.

User accounts

Some features of ArrivMate may require you to create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You must provide accurate information when creating an account and keep it up to date.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or that we reasonably believe are being used fraudulently.

Acceptable use

You agree not to: use ArrivMate for any unlawful purpose, attempt to access other users' data, scrape or reproduce our content without permission, interfere with the site's operation, or use automated tools to access the site in a way that places unreasonable load on our infrastructure.

Intellectual property

All content on ArrivMate — including text, guides, personalisation logic, design, and code — is owned by ArrivMate or its licensors and is protected by Australian and international copyright law. You may use the site for personal, non-commercial purposes. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from our content without written permission.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Australian law, ArrivMate and its operators are not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising from your use of the site or reliance on any information provided. This includes but is not limited to: financial losses from acting on our content, missed deadlines, incorrect visa or tax decisions, or issues with third-party products accessed through our affiliate links.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded under Australian Consumer Law.

Availability

We aim to keep ArrivMate available at all times but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the site at any time without notice.
